<div>You may have seen Natasha’s post that has gone viral regarding her recent medical obstetrical trauma here in our local hospitals.

<div>Natasha is home now.
</div>

</div>
<div>But “home” right now does not mean safe, supported, or able to rest.
</div>

</div>
<div>Just days after surviving a life-threatening obstetric emergency, multiple surgeries, and an ICU stay, Natasha has been discharged into a reality where she is bedridden, unable to walk, and fully dependent on others for basic care.
</div>

</div>
<div>She is recovering from:
</div>
<div>   •   A catastrophic internal hemorrhage
</div>
<div>   •   Two emergency surgeries
</div>
<div>   •   A life-saving hysterectomy
</div>
<div>   •   Severe blood loss and ICU-level trauma

</div>
<div>And she is still not out of the woods.
</div>

<div>Natasha continues to experience internal bleeding and remains medically vulnerable. Her body is still navigating the aftermath of a crisis that has not fully resolved.

<div>This is not a typical postpartum recovery.

</div>

<div>Natasha’s medical emergency did not come out of nowhere.

</div>

<div>Again and again, she told providers that something was wrong. She advocated for her body, her pain, and her safety.

<div>She was dismissed.
</div>

<div>Her concerns were minimized. Her voice was questioned. Her instincts—accurate and urgent—were not acted on in time.

<div>Only after continued escalation and advocacy was the severity of her condition recognized.

<div>By then, she was hemorrhaging internally.
</div>

</div>
<div>She was rushed into emergency surgery.
</div>

<div>Her life was saved—but at an immense cost.
</div>

<div>This was not just a medical crisis.
</div>

<div>It was a failure to listen.

<div>The Reality She Is Living In Now

<div>Natasha cannot care for herself right now.

<div>She cannot safely lift, carry, or consistently care for her newborn. She is navigating pain, exhaustion, and the emotional impact of everything her body has endured—while still medically fragile.

<div>There is no system in place to support her in this stage of recovery.

<div>After surviving a preventable escalation, she has been discharged into a situation where she must now personally fund the care she depends on to heal and to safely parent her baby.

<div>She is draining her savings to meet needs that should never have been left unmet.

<div>   •   Continuous presence while she remains physically limited
</div>
<div>   •   Nervous system stabilization and grounding
</div>
<div>   •   Advocacy and continuity of care

<div>   •   Creating the conditions for true rest while her body is still recovering
