They are able to receive funds via his sister in Jordan, and this amount includes the steep 36% fee charged by brokers due to the cash shortage resulting from the blockade.

<div>The past few months have been unimaginably painful for us. Our home, once a refuge filled with memories, has been reduced to rubble. We have not only lost our sanctuary but also so many beloved neighbors and friends. Each day is a precarious journey as we move in search of safety, navigating through fear, hunger, and uncertainty. The basics—food, water, medicine—are now luxuries that we must share among our extended family, struggling to make it through each day. Our grandchildren are growing up in conditions that no child should ever have to face—filled with anxiety, hunger, and deprived of the joys of school and play.

<div>Yet, through the dark moments, we cling to hope. We have felt the warmth of solidarity from friends and activists in Britain. Your voices, raised in support of Gaza and advocating for justice, resonate deeply with us. It is with this sense of community that I humbly ask for your help: we are launching a GoFundMe campaign aimed at securing our family's survival and, when possible, facilitating our escape to safety. Your contributions will provide us with essential necessities like food, clean water, and urgent medical care—and ultimately, the chance to leave Gaza, find refuge, and begin anew.
