<div>Hi, my name is Preston, and I’m currently in the Burn Center in Lubbock, Texas after being airlifted from New Mexico with severe burn injuries.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I never imagined I’d be writing something like this. A few weeks ago, I was living simply, doing what I love — fixing computers, helping people with tech problems, and making an honest living. I’ve always worked for myself, doing everything I can to show up for others when they needed help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But now, I’m the one who needs help. Badly.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My injuries are serious, and the recovery ahead of me is long. I can’t work. I can’t walk. I don’t have a financial safety net. I’m single, with no children or close family who can step in. I’m trying to heal while also wondering how I’ll afford food, rent, and medical care.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It’s humbling to ask, but I’m reaching out to anyone who might see this and feel moved to help. If you’ve ever had someone show up when you needed them most — that’s who I try to be. And right now, I need someone to show up for me.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every donation — no matter how small — will go directly to keeping a roof over my head, food on the table, and covering the critical medical costs that come with a burn injury of this level. Just $10, $25, or whatever you’re comfortable giving can genuinely change the outcome of my recovery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you can't donate, please consider sharing this with someone who might be able to. Even kind words, prayers, or a moment of your time means more than you know.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I still believe in good people. I still believe in second chances. And I still believe I’ll get through this — with help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With gratitude and hope,
</div>
<div>Preston
</div>
