For months, I’ve lain in a hospital bed, my body ravaged by a silent enemy: a cancerous mass in my stomach that stole my ability to eat, my strength, and nearly my will to survive.

<div>In January 2025, CT scans were done but doctors found nothing. By February, I was skeletal, surviving on drips, vomiting even water. By April, they finally named the monster inside me— <strong>stomach cancer</strong>—but now they say I cannot fight it unless I pay <strong>R140,000</strong>.

My family has sold belongings, my friends have emptied savings, but we are still short. <strong>Time is running out.</strong>
