<div>On August 1st, 2025, my father and I went out together to find food from one of the rare distribution points. It was supposed to be a short trip. But as we approached, gunfire erupted. I survived... my father did not.

<div>He died in front of me — not as a soldier, but as a father trying to feed his children. His last act was an act of love. His absence has left a deep emptiness, especially for little Hussein, who clings to the memories of a father he may never fully remember.

<div>During one of the most desperate days, while I was trying to secure some food for my family, I was shot by the occupation forces. The pain was overwhelming, but even more painful was the thought that such brutality had become a part of our daily reality. That wound left a scar not only on my body, but also on my soul, serving as a constant reminder of the high price we pay just to survive .
