<div>I am deeply committed to pay forward their heroic acts of kindness and courage through my business, Sun Moon Rain. We eliminate single-use plastic through e-commerce (<a href="https://www.sunmoonrain.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">www.sunmoonrain.com</a>), providing refillable products and sustainable jewellery in our Santa Monica store (2601 17th Street, off Ocean Park). We are now also collaborating with We Just Breath, a 501C3 foundation.

<div><strong>We are raising funds through GoFundMe on behalf of women and single mothers in Los Angeles who are struggling with rental expenses. Our goal is to raise an initial $20,000 to provide immediate financial relief by distributing $1,000 each to 20 women in need. Recipients will be selected with assistance from local organizations, we are working with Catholic Charities, 211la.org and LACRO - Los Angeles Community Resource Organization. These trusted non-profit organizations are helping to identify women facing the greatest financial hardships and getting them in contact with us. GoFundMe donations will be deposited into the We Just Breathe Foundation’s (501C3) account and distributed directly to the selected women.</strong>

A single mother of two, Shabnam moved to Los Angeles from Singapore, and began working with local women entrepreneurs to co-create jewelry and refillable beauty products.
