<div>Despite maintaining academic excellence, I’ve hit a financial roadblock. Due to recent changes in federal student loan limits, I’ve reached my borrowing cap, just as tuition and housing costs are rising.

<div>I’m raising funds to cover my room and board, which is critical to staying enrolled for my clinical rotations. I currently live too far from campus to commute daily, especially during clinicals, making on-campus housing my only real option.

<div>I was raised by a single mother, turned school nurse, who pursued her LPN license later in life. Watching her battle through her own academic minefield, with limited income has been both heartbreaking and inspiring.

<div>She’s had to pause work most summers because LPNs are not typically employed in schools over break, leaving our family with recurring financial burdens. Despite that, she’s never given up—and that resilience is what fuels me every day.

<div>I’m also the first in my family to go to college, and I carry the responsibility of breaking generational cycles. I want to be proof that you can overcome hardship, stay the course, and create something better—not just for yourself, but for everyone who comes after you.
