<li>This historic home was formerly known as the Schofield Trades and Printing School that was a part of the Schofield Normal and Industrial School founded by Martha Schofield after the Civil War. It is the last remaining building of the historic Schofield school campus.

<li>In 2025, a new galvanized steel roof (29 gauge) was installed.

<li><strong>To prevent further age-related deterioration, our goal is to raise $23,000 by April 30, 2026 to complete the following:</strong>

<li>Repair and paint wood exterior. Costs $23,000.

<li><strong>Upon completing major renovations, the historic home will be available to community residents for training and educational opportunities; as well as being a venue for community events.</strong>
