This includes education and enrichment for infants and children, mentoring and skill building for youth and adults, and wellness education for seniors and families.

<div>Education has always been part of our family’s work. Samuel Harris, my grandfather’s paternal uncle, founded Harris Barber College in 1930; where they continue to expand this legacy through training and opportunity.

<div>In 1948, my grandfather, Elmo Harris and his older brother, Herman Harris opened a barbershop in Zebulon during a time when Black men in rural communities had limited access to care. As World War II veterans, they built more than a business. They created a trusted place for dignity, mentorship, and community.
