<div>Uncle Nelson would took care of me throughout my PRE-K years til I was old enough to watch after myself.

<div>I `d go to His Home after school, I'd stayed the whole summer over His Home <em>Creating Memories to last an eternity</em>, those memories that we wish we could revisit.

<div>Moving Forward at 35 <strong><em> it breaks my heart to hear such news. </em></strong>

<div>Nelson Bermudez has <em>2 Daughters, 6 grandchildren , 4 brothers and 1 sister. </em>He would tell me " David your the son I never had" so we were close and Uncle Nelson would tell me as soon as I walked into His home <strong>"Why are you here? Go home"</strong> and I would laugh cause I knew it was his way of Saying Im happy to see you.

<div>As a kid <strong>MISCHIEF </strong>was my middle name: but those days created a more lovingly and comical relationship With<strong> Nelson Bermudez, </strong>Anyone who knows Uncle Nelson knows this Was a Favorite phrase of his "David go home, go home. go home."

<div>For years, my uncle — <strong><em>my Godfather, my mentor, my friend</em></strong> — has been quietly fighting a battle against serious illness. Through every hospital visit, every procedure, and every sleepless night, he’s held on with a strength that inspires everyone who knows him.

<div>Now, <strong>his fight has reached a critical point</strong>. He is on life support. Every moment is precious, and every resource matters in this battle for his life. Our family is doing everything we can, but <em>the emotional and financial burden has grown far beyond what we can manage alone.</em>

<div>My uncle has always been the first to help others — whether it was lending a hand, offering guidance, or simply showing up when someone needed him most. Today, we’re asking for that same kindness to be shown back to him.
