<div>Hurricane Melissa left some parts of Jamaica reeling - homes washed away, livelihoods paused, families cut off from essentials.

<div>Some of the very people hardest hit are the ones who help make Jamaica’s beauty possible: the chefs, housekeepers, tour drivers, bartenders, and small vendors who keep our island humming.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Together, we’re rallying to care for them beginning with hospitality families who’ve lost nearly everything. They need clothing, toiletries, food, solar lights, and tools to rebuild their homes and lives.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>They are the beginning, not the end, of this effort to help restore dignity in communities across the west coast of the island.
</div>

<div>I’m Roxanne Bellamy, an event planner and hospitality consultant born in Jamaica and based between Miami and Washington, DC - now working alongside local partners and volunteers to get relief directly where it’s needed most.

<div><strong>PHASE ONE: </strong>Families of the Hospitality Industry
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’re intentionally starting with families whose lives and livelihoods have been deeply impacted. They need the basics: <em>clothing, shoes, toiletries, undergarments, dry goods, solar lights, and tools to begin cleanup.</em>
</div>

<div>Your donations will help purchase and deliver:

<li>Clothing and shoes for adults and children
</li>
<li>Toiletries and sanitary products
</li>
<li>Dry food, canned goods, and bottled water
</li>
<li>Solar-powered chargers and lanterns
</li>
<li>Power tools, generators, and cleaning supplies
</li>
<li>And other relief necessities
</li>

<div>Where possible, items will be purchased locally to support Jamaica’s small businesses and local economy, with additional supplies shipped from abroad.

<div><strong>PHASE TWO: </strong>Community Care Bags
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Once those families are stable, we’ll expand relief by distributing 50–100 care bags in the parishes of St. Elizabeth, Westmoreland, and Hanover - some of the hardest hit areas. Local volunteers from unaffected, or less-affected parishes will help distribute supplies.
</div>

</div>
<div>Each bag will include at least a 3-day supply of:
</div>

</div>
<ul>
<li>Hygiene and sanitary products
</li>
<li>Dry and canned goods, powdered milk, and water
</li>
<li>Solar chargers to help families reconnect
</li>
<li>Other necessities
</li>
</ul>

<div>We’ll also host community meals for those most vulnerable during this recovery period.
</div>

<div><strong>HOW FUNDS WILL BE USED</strong>

<li>Food and clean water for rural families
</li>
<li>Emergency essentials - bedding, sanitary items, dry food, canned goods, baby supplies, etc.

<li>Every dollar turns into something tangible

<div>All funds will be held in a dedicated relief account managed by myself and a small oversight team. Full expense reports and visual updates will be shared publicly as distributions occur.
