<div>Bob (Robert) and Gretchen Ackerman, beloved parents and grandparents, were taken from us in the most unthinkable way. They were murdered in their own home by their son-in-law — a man they trusted and welcomed into their family —while protecting their daughter and grandchildren from him. The grief and shock we are feeling right now are beyond words.

<div>Their pregnant daughter — the wife of the man responsible — survived the attack, along with her children. While we are grateful they are still with us, they now face the unimaginable: mourning the loss of their beloved, processing the trauma of what happened, and trying to piece together a new life in the shadow of tragedy.

<div>Funds raised will go toward:
