<div>Hip Hop Paathshala (HHP) is a unique school of Hip Hop in the heart of Dharavi (India’s biggest slum) dedicated to changing the lives of India’s most needy young people. HHP fosters a sense of community, social responsibility and works to improve mental &amp; physical health, adding the Hip Hop discipline to student education.

<div>The school has an intensive daily curriculum for children after mainstream school for B Boying (<strong>Breakdancing</strong>), <strong>Beatboxing</strong> and <strong>Rapping</strong> 6 days a week serving 20 - 30 young people

<div>HHP was founded in August 2023 by Hip Hop artist &amp; Bboy Akash Dhangar who has been working with young people in his local community for the past 15 years.

<div>Akash is from Dharavi himself, and in spite of personal circumstances, is manifesting his vision to create a positive change in society through the transformative power of Hip Hop Culture against all odds. Hip Hop is a medium bridging the gap between creativity and wellbeing through artistic disciplines, and Akash teaches it to impoverished youth residing with him in the slums.

<div>There is a significant gap between mainstream Hip Hop and the true artistic values the training of its disciplines created. Hip-Hop Paathshala aims to bridge this gap by offering a curriculum that explores the history, techniques, and philosophies behind real Hip Hop. By educating young people in Hip Hop, Paathshala offers them a chance to reach a global audience, culture and network with people outside of the slums.

<div><strong>Education Programme in Hip Hop Paathshala</strong>
</div>

</div>
<div>The Education Programme will be providing <strong>FREE</strong> education in basic <strong>maths</strong>, <strong>science</strong>, <strong>languages </strong>and <strong>Hip Hop</strong> to approximately <strong>30 young people</strong> over <strong>6 days a week</strong> for <strong>48 weeks in the year</strong>. HHP will have two teachers that will be teaching for 2 hours per day where in total the teachers will be teaching 6 hours per week.

<div>During school holidays, the Education Programme will focus on teaching English language and Life Coaching to develop critical thinking, confidence and additional skills.

<div>The programme will cost approximately <strong>£666 (₹73,319) a month</strong> or £8000 (₹880,708) for one year supporting 30 young people. The cost will cover:
