<div>In 2024, I discovered that my adoption had been secretly annulled in 2016. The Quebec government knew and for nine years, they never told me. I lived believing I had a life, a name, a place in the world and it had all been taken from me without warning or explanation.

<div>When the full administrative investigation was completed in Romania, the result was crushing:

<div>I am stuck in Romania without identity.
</div>

<div>I cannot work.
</div>
<div>I cannot earn income.

<div>I cannot move forward with my life.

<div>Every day, I feel invisible. I exist in the world, but the law refuses to see me. I never imagined being in a place where I cannot provide for myself because the system erased me.

<div>And every day, it chips away at my hope.
