<div>My husband Charles has been dealing with several health issues for the last 8 years or so and has been disabled for the last 5 and a half.

<div>One of those health issues is End Stage Renal Disease, and he has been on dialysis for the last 3 years. He is now at the stage of qualifying for a kidney transplant, and we are beginning the journey of locating a donor. It has been a very long and difficult road to get here, and we couldn’t be more excited—but also scared, nervous, anxious, stressed—all the feelings!!

<div>The Transplant clinic has advised us of some very significant out-of-pocket costs and suggested we start fundraising for those expenses right away, <strong>so here we are asking for help from friends, family, and strangers.</strong> There is no way we can cover these costs on our own.
