<div>THIS IS MY RARE CANCER STORY,
</div>
<div>In 2005, at age 51, I was unfortunately diagnosed with a very rare, neoplasm, "Neuroendocrine Carcinoid Tumor Cancer." I am only one, out of one-hundred thousand [1-100K] patients with this same diagnosis. I have had seven (7) surgeries to date.
</div>
<div>In my heart of hearts, I have to hope, and pray, that there are still goodhearted people in the world, who want to help those in desperate &amp; serious needs.
</div>
<div>As a low-income, disabled, cancer patient, I am always looking for assistance through my city, state, or federal programs, but what I am in desperate need of, are financial donations to keep me from completely running out of my dwindling life's savings.
</div>
<div>Earlier in 2026, I paid close to $20K ($19,500.00) for a new shingled mobilehome roof!
</div>
<div>I had previously noted my goal amount was $40K.
</div>
<div>There goes most of my savings, my life insurance, and a stock, plus a loan, to afford the cost of the roof.
</div>
<div>I can certainly use all the financial support that I can get, PLEASE!!!, but still I lowered the goal amount down to $30K, from $40K, which still might seem a too lofty of a goal, in these economic times and maybe, it still might not be enough, to see me through to my end.
</div>
<div>I do fully understand, that there are millions of people in this Country, (and all over the World) who are also in need of all kinds of assistance, but speaking for myself, this roof project has left me with a dangerously low balance, and truthfully, I am freaking out, more so than any other time in my life, with the exception of when I was told that I had a rare tumor cancer, and would need more surgeries, so the hospital told me to apply for Medicare, Social Security, and Medi-Cal, at age 51, because these future surgeries will not be very cheap.
</div>
<div>With rent, utilities, food, fuel, car and home insurances, and every other expense under the sun, that keeps increasing, it is very difficult to maintain a stress-free environment, then add the cancer to this list, and it is no wonder why, I am so completely stressed and overwhelmed.
</div>
<div>I realize, that for me to ask for financial assistance, is a very large "ASK." I am hoping there are kind folks who understand where I am coming from, and maybe, they happen to have a loved one, a good friend, who also has the challenges of a cancer.
</div>
<div>With my ongoing suffering that I’ve had with the massive nausea that I still deal with.
</div>
<div>I have not been able to work, due to the main side-effect of debilitating, chronic, severe, NAUSEA, which has kept me from performing any menial tasks, or physical attempts of work, which has diminished my social life, and with my sad low savings, this only adds to this condition.
</div>
<div>Not any quality of life, is all I can say.
</div>
<div>I DO NOT live beyond my means, I live a VERY frugal existence. Never going out to eat, or a movie, or spend money needlessly.
</div>
<div>The donations that I am asking for, are not only to help put back some or most, of this $19.5K roof expense, but also, assist me in affording all my other day to day, year to year expenses, like rent, utilities, food, car/home insurances, car repairs, appliance replacement or repair, and virtually, EVERY EXPENSE!!!
</div>
<div>I am very worried about my cancer and what it has cost me, and how many more years I will have to enjoy what little life I may have left, with feeling too yucky each passing moment, every minute, all hours, of each long day!
</div>
<div>Thoughts occupy my brain with all the worrying about running out of money. If that happens, I will be forced to move, but to where, at 71 years of age, I am much too old to be thinking of moving, and all that would be involved.
</div>
<div>I am asking and pleading, with whomever is reading this, that if you have a few extra dollars, please, please, think of me.
</div>
<div>I never, ever once asked to have such a debilitating cancer.
</div>
<div>My life’s savings, along with Social Security, and any GoFundMe donations that I receive, are the ONLY resources that I have to survive on! So please, please help!
</div>
<div>Again, I must apologize, for having to keep asking for any financial donations that you could possibly assist me with, but desperate times calls for desperate measures, and I am getting to the end of my proverbial, ‘rope.’
</div>
<div>Unfortunately, I have little choice, but to continually ask for any financial assistance, whatever you could afford to assist me with.
</div>
<div>Whether it's, $1, $5, $10, $20, $30, $50, or more, just know, that I am extremely grateful, with whatever amount!
</div>
<div>I also understand, that everyone is dealing with the very high cost of inflation of all goods and services, devaluation of 401-K’s, and savings accounts, increasing rents, etc.
</div>
<div>Also, since, 2005, I have been receiving monthly Sandotatin-Octreotide Injections, which started at 20MG, then a few years ago, in 2023, they increased the dosage to 30MG shots, every four weeks, and for the rest of my natural life!
</div>
<div>I know I sound like a whiny, you know what, but it seems insane for me (or anyone else at all) to publicly air their life’s problems) BUT, I only do so, as another human, and I’m only one person, out of millions of other fellow humans, each with their own sets of life’s problems, and circumstances.
</div>
