<div>My name is Lilith and I’m helping Asmaa raise money for her survival. I met Asmaa through my friend Mahmoud in Gaza and I want to do everything I can to help her. I’m am an Australian citizen but I currently live in Germany. The funds will be withdrawn to my Australian bank account and then I will transfer them to Asmaa’s Palestinian bank account. Here is a message from Asmaa:

<div>My Story: I’m Asmaa, a University Graduate from Gaza Fighting to Survive
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Asmaa Yousef. I’m 25 years old and a university graduate from Khan Younis, the southern Gaza Strip. I graduated on October 4, 2023—just three days before the war broke out. Like any young woman, I dreamed of starting a new life, finding a job, and building a future. But the war took everything away.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, I wash clothes by hand, carry water for long distances, cook over wood fires, search desperately for food, and sleep on the streets or in a tiny tent that doesn’t fit us all. We live in constant fear, never knowing what tomorrow will bring.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My father was the sole provider for both our family and my brother’s family, but he was sadly detained by the occupation. My brother also lost his job due to the war, and now we have no source of income.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The war has changed everything. Our home was destroyed. We lost our stability, our plans—our lives. And now, with winter here, we cannot find warm
</div>
<div>shelter or clothes for my brother’s little children.
</div>

</div>

</div>
<div>A Touch of Pain…
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>One night, it was raining, and we were all sleeping in the tent. Rainwater leaked through the roof and soaked our bedding and clothes. I woke up to the sound of my mother crying quietly so she wouldn’t wake us. I looked around and saw my little brother sleeping on a wet mattress, shivering from the cold, saying nothing. I felt powerless—even though I’m the oldest, even though I’m “educated.” But in war, nothing matters more than survival.

<div>How Do I Receive the Donations? (For Transparency)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Due to the restrictions imposed on Palestinians in Gaza, we are not allowed to open direct accounts on GoFundMe—this is just one form of the siege we live under every day. Therefore, the donations are sent to my dear friend and first supporter, Lilith Rachel, who manages the campaign on my behalf and receives the funds in her bank account outside Gaza. Once we collect $500, Lilith transfers the amount to me in Gaza using cryptocurrency, which is currently the safest way to receive funds. Then, my friend Mahmoud helps convert the funds into cash here, with a 10% fee to cover the transfer and facilitation costs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I assure you: every single donation—no matter how small—makes a real difference in my life and the lives of my family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you have any questions or wish to confirm the authenticity of the campaign, you’re welcome to reach out to me or Lilith directly.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity and trust.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>You can support us through this campaign or via the PayPal link in my profile.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please, help us survive. Your kindness may be the only thing that saves us in these hard times.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With all my gratitude,
</div>
<div>Asmaa Yousef
