<div>I am Areej, 32 years old. My husband, Muhammad, is 37 years old. We have two children: Mustafa, 15 years old, and Shuaib, 12 years old. We live in Palestine, the Gaza Strip. My child, Shuaib, is sick. He was involved in a traffic accident that left him with fractures in his foot. He was subjected to a platinum procedure and remained in a wheelchair for 3 months. The war began in Gaza before he completed his operation. The second was the collapse of the health system. I was displaced from my house after 3 days after it was destroyed to my family’s house. There we left without my child’s chair, as he was using his father’s and I’s hands to rest on. Then from my family’s house in Al-Nasr to my brother’s house in Al-Shuja’iya, then to Al-Nuseirat, then Khan Yunis, then Rafah, then Khan Yunis, then Deir al-Balah, my little boy was shivering from the cold and the platinum on his feet in the tent life, where there was a scarcity of clothes and blankets, and the summer season came, where life was difficult. My little child works with their father to meet our needs for water and food. My little ones stand on a water line all day long to provide non-drinking water, but they stand in a line. I have to eat food, and most of it follows. After hours of waiting, fate ends and my little ones return without food. I was unable to provide food rich in calcium, minerals and vitamins to strengthen his body. After 10 months of not having medical capabilities, I was able to present my little one to a doctor who asked him to undergo another operation and not move and rely on his foot and not. Carrying heavy things. My child needs surgery. Help me so that I can travel with my child so that I can show him to a doctor and continue his life like the children of the world.
