<div>Je m'appelle Mélina, je suis une étudiante française en médecine, et je crée cette cagnotte pour venir en aide à une famille palestinienne coincée à Gaza.

<div>Shaima, la fille aînée, est mariée. Elle a un fils, Ali, âgé de 3 ans.

<div>Muhammad est actuellement le plus âgé du foyer. En octobre 2023, il a été arrêté au domicile familial par l'armée, sans raison apparente. Il a passé 2 mois en détention, se faisant torturer, tandis que le reste de sa famille le croyait mort.

<div>Lorsque Muhammad fut libéré et retrouva ses proches, ils n’eurent pas le temps de souffler : leur maison a été détruite par les bombardements. Ils se sont tout d'abord réfugiés chez leur grand-père, puis ont été déplacés plus de 10 fois à travers le territoire, où aucun endroit n'est désormais sûr.

<div>Ils vivent actuellement ensemble dans une tente avec leur grand-mère, dans des conditions extrêmement précaires. Les ressources de première nécessité sont à des prix exorbitants, d'autant plus que Muhammad et ses parents ont perdu leur travail, privant ainsi la famille de toute source de revenus.

<div>La petite Amira est également tombée malade. En 2024, alors âgée de 13 ans, on lui a diagnostiqué un cancer de l’ovaire, plus précisément une tumeur du sac vitellin. Il s’agit d’une tumeur maligne très rare, touchant principalement les adolescentes et les jeunes femmes. Elle a d’abord été opérée et traitée par chimiothérapie, ce qui a permis une régression de la maladie. Malheureusement, les examens réalisés fin 2025 montrent l’apparition de nouvelles lésions au niveau du péritoine et des ganglions lymphatiques : Amira est actuellement en rechute.

<div>Muhammad souhaitait ouvrir une cagnotte pour subvenir aux besoins de sa famille, mais sa localisation ne lui permettait pas de le faire lui-même. Il m'a contactée en 2024 via un groupe de bénévoles sur les réseaux sociaux afin de créer une campagne en son nom. Nous échangeons quotidiennement depuis 2 ans, et je peux dire qu'aujourd'hui il est devenu un ami pour moi.

<div>When Muhammad was released and reunited with his family, they didn’t even catch a break : their home was destroyed in the bombings. They first sought refuge at their grandfather's house, and have since been displaced more than 10 times across the territory, where no place is safe anymore.

<div>They are now living in a tent with their grandmother, in very harsh conditions. Basic necessities are extremely expensive, especially since Muhammad and his parents have lost their jobs, leaving the family with no source of income.

<div>Amira also got ill. In 2024, at only 13 years old, she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, more specifically a Yolk sac tumor. This is a very rare malignant tumor that mainly affects teenage girls and young women. She underwent surgery followed by chemotherapy, which initially led to a regression of the disease. Unfortunately, tests carried out in late 2025 revealed new lesions in the peritoneum and lymph nodes : Amira is now facing a relapse.

<div>Muhammad wanted to start a fundraiser to support his family, but his location didn’t allow him to do so himself. He reached out to me in 2024 through a volunteer group on social media, asking me to create a campaign on his behalf. We have been talking daily for 2 years, and I can say that he has now become a friend to me.
