<div>My husband and I are both from St. Elizabeth, Jamaica — one of the areas hardest hit by Category 5 Hurricane Melissa. The storm left our family homes in Middlesex and Balaclava without roofs, flooded entire communities, and destroyed crops and essential household items. What once was a peaceful rural community is now facing immense hardship, with many families struggling to meet even their basic daily needs.
