</div>
<div>I am severely disabled, to the point where I am unable to live on my own. I can't go out and I am physically unable to be out of my bed for more than a half an hour at a time without being in an incredible amount of pain.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My adult daughter lives with me and works, unpaid, as my caregiver while also being disabled herself.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This GFM was originally created because in November of 2025 a roommate stole all of our savings. Until now we have managed to just stay afloat.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Then today August 15th, my daughter woke to email after email confirming purchases we didn't make.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our online grocery accounts, both Walmart and Amazon were hacked. Because of this our bank account was nearly emptied., leaving just under $9
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have no money to buy food, prescriptions or cover our rent next month.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The bank, Walmart and Amazon were all contacted and recovery efforts are in place. All accounts have been secured and the bank card was reported stolen/compromised.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We're now in a waiting game as to whether the stolen money will be returned or not.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And with our disabilities we have no way to simply work more to replace the funds before bills come due again.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you can help in any way, we would greatly appreciate it.
