<div>My name is Christina, and I have had the privilege of knowing Jen for several years. We originally met through her husband Jay's work, and over time, we have formed a truly special bond. Jen is more than just a friend—she has become family to me and so many others. Her warmth, kindness, and incredible sense of humor are just a few of the many qualities that make her such a remarkable person. She has a way of lighting up any room she enters and touching the lives of everyone around her. She would never turn down a good bottle of wine to share with you either.

<div>Jen received the devastating diagnosis of Malignant Neoplasm Primary Myelofibrosis, a serious and rare form of bone marrow cancer. As part of her fight against this illness, she will undergo an intensive treatment plan that includes chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. This journey has already begun with so many doctor appts that have led them to today. Treatment begins at the end of April and will require Jen and Jay to stay in Rochester, MN, full-time for at least 100 days to receive the care she needs at Mayo.

<div>Jen and Jay have found temporary accommodations at an extended stay hotel in Rochester, which will be their home away from home during this challenging period. However, this is far from their actual home in Eau Claire, WI, which is about two hours away. The distance means they will face additional hurdles—home-cooked meals won't be possible, and the costs associated with this journey are daunting. Between hotel accommodations, food, parking, medical expenses, and other unforeseen costs, the financial burden is significant.
