<div>Our lives have been turned upside down after the passing of my husband and my best friend, Robert on Sunday. We are all just so heartbroken.

<div>Asking for help is not something I usually do, and this is not easy for me at all, but I am at the point that just anything will help. We have received help from the family as much as they can do, but we are all struggling at this time.

<div>Now that we have lost an income, everything is starting to pile up. I had been staying home more to take care of him and been with him since he’s been in the hospital, so I have lost income from myself as well in the process, and we were struggling financially as most are in these times. I have applied for financial assistance, but it will take some time.

<div>As some know, we adopted 2 of our grandchildren. <strong>Robert’s grandkids were his whole world and he was theirs.</strong> But now I am raising two young kids without him. The youngest, Louella, was just diagnosed with a rare bone disease. That also puts more of a financial strain on things. <strong>I am reaching out for help to get us through this hard time so that I can continue to give my grandkids what they need and we can get a little bit of a start to getting back on our feet again.</strong>
