<div>In March of 2025, <strong>I was laid off from my job</strong>. I have applied to hundreds of positions, both local and remote. I was able to find part-time holiday work. On top of that, I did find an additional part-time job that will begin in January, and hopefully, between the two, I will be able to make ends meet.

<div>However, with what is available to me, <strong>I won’t be able to make December’s rent without a little help</strong>. My daughter already knows that we will not be doing any physical gifts for Christmas, and she has been so understanding about this. I’m not asking for anything excessive... I just want to make it into 2026 with a roof over my head.
