<div>Like many women, Marcia McRoberts is a working mom, but unlike most of us, Marcia is also a world-class multi-sport athlete who will be representing Canada in her age group at the 2023 World Triathlon Multisport Championships in Ibiza, Spain, April 29th – May 7.

<div>Marcia and her partner, Steve Benko, both qualified to represent Canada based on their times in the Bluewater Triathlon, Olympic Distance Duathlon. 
</div>

<div>For Marcia, competing against the best in the world is about more than just the race itself. “I am a 42-year-old mother of two beautiful kids. I'm hoping to represent not only Team Canada for my age group, but working mothers continuing to be dedicated to reaching their own goals.”

<div>Age group athletes like Marcia do not receive funding. Representing Canada at the World Triathlon Multisport Championships is a fully self-funded program, and the cost to participate can become very expensive. Any support you can give is greatly appreciated.
