<div>We are three students from La Côte International School who share a passion for swimming and a deep appreciation for the beautiful lake we are so lucky to enjoy.

<div>This year, we've decided to set ourselves a personal challenge — and turn it into something bigger. We’ll be swimming across the lake from Saint-Gingolph (France) to Cully (Switzerland) — a distance of 11km! Along the way, we’re aiming to raise CHF 6,000 to support our local lake rescue services (sauvetage), who work tirelessly to keep everyone safe on the water.

<div>These rescue teams are entirely funded by donations, yet each year the number of people using the lake increases — and unfortunately, so do the accidents. This challenge is not only about pushing ourselves but also about:

</li>
<li>Giving back to a community resource we all benefit from
