Help our household stay afloat!

Hi all! I’m Ryn. I just moved across the country from the southern Illinois region to the Pacific Northwest to be with my chosen family. I’ve been very lucky so far to have some support and to make it out safely and to an apartment with people I love. Unfortunately, in the process, I’ve used all of my graduation money and wiped out the savings I’d managed to hold onto through my degree. Now we are currently struggling to make the rest of the rent for the month of June. 

There are currently three folks living here, with a fourth to move in at the end of summer. Two of us are trans, disabled, queer folks, and all three current residents are mentally ill. I’m currently searching for work in the region. My food stamps from Illinois refill on July 7, but that is their last month; I’m in the process of applying in Washington. All three of the current roommates have put in about the same amount of capital, to within $50, to getting the new apartment up and running and to paying rent and bills thus far. We’re still coming up short this month.

The goal here is for the rest of the rent due July 5. It would be wonderful to reach this goal or surpass it for safety's sake. Thank you!!
