קוראים לי ליאת אהרון ואני חיילת בודדה שגרה בקיבוץ ניר יצחק. אני ועוד חבורה גדולה של אמריקאים החלטנו להתנדב לתוכנת שנקראת גרעין ״צבר״ וקיבוץ ניר יצחק קיבל אותנו בידיים פתוחות והעניק לנו את כל התנאים שביכולתו במסגרת התקציב שניתן להם. למרות זאת, לקיבוץ אין תקציבים גדולים והמועדון של הגרעין נמצא במצב איום ונורא. חשוב לי לציין שהמועדון הזה משמש לכל כך הרבה פעילויות, הווי משפחתי, מטבח, וזהו המקום היחיד בו אנו מתקבצים ומרגישים בבית, לכן מאוד חשוב שהמקום יהיה ראוי ובמצב נורמלי. המבנה עצמו נבנה לפני מעל 60 שנה ובמצבו הנוכחי אי אפשר להיכנס למבנה. בתוך המבנה יש ערמות של חלודה, יש עכברים בכל מקום, והמבנה פשוט מתפורר. כאות הערכה לקיבוץ ולאנשים הנהדרים שעוזרים לנו יום יום להתרגל לחיים בישראל ברצוני לבקש את עזרתכם בשם גרעין ״צבר״ לעזור אפילו במעט להשיב את המקום לקדמותו. כל תרומה תתקבל בברכה והערכה
Hello everyone,
My name is Liat Aharon and I’m a lone soldier living in Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak. Almost a year ago a large group of American Israelis and I decided to leave our homes in the United States and voluntarily join the IDF through Garin Tzabar, a program that assists lone soldiers from abroad. For many years the program has had a successful partnership with Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak. The kibbutz has taken us in, and has provided us with the best conditions within its budget. Unfortunately, it does not have a large endowment and the state of the Garin’s clubhouse is in need of serious attention. It’s important to point out that the clubhouse is a critical entity for the Garin; it is used for almost all activities and it is also the only place we have to sit, eat and spend time together as a group. In other words, without a functioning clubhouse it is difficult for us to develop as a group.
The clubhouse was built nearly 60 years ago and is barely intact, replete with rotting wood, rats and mold. This poses dangerous health concerns, as well as simply being an overall unpleasant place to spend time in. To show our appreciation to the Kibbutz and the people involved in the program I want to ask on behalf of my Garin for any form of assistance. All help is very much appreciated and will make a huge difference for us. Thank you for your consideration, תודה רבה!
