HOTEL AT THE END OF THE UNIVERSE
There is a village in Nepal where many travelers would go because of its location and stunning mountain views. Once there, they’d soon forget about the views because what they found was something much brighter and deeper.
Friends, real friends, listening, joking, helping, and sharing...
If a traveler had planned to stay for two nights, he would end up staying a week or a month. Many would come back again and again. What they found at this hotel was special, like a family of beautiful human beings.
This place, The Hotel at the End of the Universe in Nagarkot, was completely destroyed in the earthquake that hit Nepal on the 25th of April. The hotel staff and their families are safe for now, but their homes have been reduced to rubble. They have lost their jobs and don't have much money left.
At the moment, they and their families are sleeping outdoors in makeshift tents. They may run out of water and food soon.
Udop, Nawaraj, Rajiv, Bishnu, Gokul and all the rest of the staff made us feel incredibly welcome in Nepal. They treated us as friends rather than customers, looked after us, and always went the extra mile to make sure we were safe and happy. Now, we want to return the favor and help them get back on their feet!
Even if you can't give much, a little participation, as you know, can mean a lot. Our friends are in a very dire situation, so at the moment your donation, no matter how small, can make a difference!
We are former guests of the hotel who decided to help our friends by starting this fundraising. All the money we collect will be sent directly to the workers of The Hotel at the End of the Universe and their families.
