Keep Rolando Little League Safe!
http://www.10news.com/news/drugs-graffitti-found-at-la-mesa-little-league-field Rolando Little League is located in the quiet neighborhood of Rolando, just straddling the borders of San Diego and La Mesa, CA. Our little league is celebrating its 63rd year of serving the youth in our area through baseball and softball programs, developing skills and character. We serve over 200 young people every year, ages 4 through 13. Our league is 100% volunteer run and is supported by our generous families and community sponsors.
This year our executive board launched a program to upgrade and beautify our facilities which are owned and managed by the city of La Mesa. The goal was to address safety issues and to create a better experience for families and the community here at Rolando Park.
Recently our beautiful field has been defaced by vandals including writing on our snack bar, storage shed, parking lot, and brand new baseball screens surrounding the field.
Through this GoFundMe request, we would like to replace the damaged screen and remove or repaint over all the graffiti. Additionally, we would like to install better lighting in the parking lot areas and security cameras. Funds raised will go to the following:
New baseball screens
Security system
Parking lot lighting
