Project Cyrus

It all started when a good friend, Ramon, mentioned that he was undergoing chemotherapy treatments for stage 1 lymphoma cancer.  As he has been undergoing treatments, one of the main pain points that he has been facing was the fact that he would not be able to engage with his young children outside in the backyard.   As the significant prognosis each physician gave him was to stay indoors and away from environmental factors that can potentially cause harm to his immune system.

As strong as he was emotionally, he suddenly became broken down and distressed in front of his family on how a cancer diagnosis changed his life completely.  One night, he gave me a call about an idea he had on an invention he wanted to create for patients undergoing the same process.  As I run my own business on developing biotech products, I didn't hesitate to help him in this endeavor on creating a prototype.  

I started the process of designing and validation to a final version of the product, on which you see from the photo, and produced the final version to Ramon.  As he has very limited means on being able to fund this prototype, I told him that I would prototype and manufacture this for him on a pro-bono (free) basis; but would need to set a campaign to make sure that we can move forward in this endeavor.  So we're here on gofundme hoping to set the opportunity to build this design which will consist of:

- White blood cell immune system effusion spray booster - to mitigate as much doctor follow ups from low cell count from undergoing chemotherapy session.
- Filtering mechanism that will purify the environmental contaminants of up to 0.2 microns.
- Filters that can be used for up to 9 months and replace
- replacement cr2045 batteries
- Array of colors for aesthetic appeal and designs for children
