Mike "The Hammer" Schwartz

Hi, we along with Mike's family are setting up this Go Fund Me page for him. As most of you know by now Mike "The Hammer" Schwartz was involved in a serious on track wreck last Friday in Lexington VA at the Usabmx Blue Ridge National Race. He was rushed by ambulance to the local hospital and then flown to the trauma center in Roanoke VA. It was then determined that he had broke his neck (c-1) and his back (t-5 & t-6). Surgery was scheduled for Saturday. He underwent successful surgery and was placed in ICU. The doctors believe Mike can and will make a full recovery in due time. His BMX career is over but he may still be able to do his 2nd favorite sport one day (volleyball). As you can image his medical expenses are and will continue to be massive. Mike has done nothing but give back to our community for decades and now he needs our help. Please consider donating to help out with his medical and day to day expenses.
