D Carter-Jafri is an SEIU 503 union leader, homecare provider, social activist, citizenship trainer and more. D suffered a terrible injury that landed her in the hospital, taking her out of work and without a paycheck. After more than two weeks in the hospital, D is now in a union nursing home for rehabilitation.
In the meantime, there are bills to pay - including rent, car insurance, utilities and more. Like many of us, D lives pay check to paycheck and now her housing is at risk so we are working to raise money to keep D's rent paid for 2-3 months or until she can get on her feet.
Rent and car insurance are due now - anything you can provide to support D will go a long way and be much appreciated!
