Cody Black’s Family

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Jacob Cody Black on March 10, 2023. A cherished brother, son, father, and friend, Cody was a unique and inspiring individual whose presence will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Cody's legacy lives on through his devoted parents, Kenny and Betty Black, his loving siblings Justin Chase Black and Jessica Black, his partner in life Olivia Page, and his two incredibly strong and fearless children, Sage Phoenix Black and Ava Blevins, who were his world and his greatest source of inspiration.

Cody's unforgettable charm and infectious smile touched the lives of everyone he met. He was a man of many passions and talents, including his love of chess, music, movies, and video games. He was never afraid to embrace his quirks and was admired for his creativity, intelligence, and fearlessness. Cody was also a devoted animal lover, filling his home, and often ours, with furry friends.

Above all else, his children were his pride and joy, and he shared a special bond with both Sage and Ava. Sage, who shares his father's unique spirit, is his dad's mini-me, while his step-daughter Ava was the apple of his eye, and Cody loved her unconditionally.

We will never forget the impact that Cody had on our lives, and we will keep his spirit alive through our cherished memories of him.

With our Cody gone too soon and unexpectedly, we want to give him the memorial service he deserves, as well as financial support for his kids. Please consider donating if you're able, as any amount is truly appreciated.
