TEAM ZOEY

Note from Family:

This is our precious 14 year old Zoey Bynum.  On October 15th, she was involved in a tragic car accident where she was ejected from the back of a pickup truck causing traumatic injuries to her body and brain.  She was life-flighted to UT Medical Center and not expected to make it 24 hours.  Against all odds, and help from prayer and God, Zoey has proven to be the fighter we know she is and is still with us.

Tim Bynum, who is a Navy veteran, has now had his world flipped completely upside down and slammed to the ground in the blink of an eye.  Not only seeing his daughter go through this, he now has to carry the financial responsibility of her medical bills, accommodations, she will soon need, and so on... on top of the daily struggles.  Tim has always tried and put his family first and is the guy who would give you the shirt off his back if you are in need.  With possible moves to Atlanta for Rehabilitation, and a tremendous amount of medical bills headed his way, anything could help him.

Zoey is one of the most kind, positive, happy girls you will meet, always having a smile on her face.  The energy she brings around is contagious and she's an absolute joy to be around.  Zoey recently said she wanted to be a veterinarian because she loves animals so much and she wants to help and make a difference.  With God's help, prayers, family and friends, we are hopeful Zoey can be gifted a miracle and get back to that place!

Anyone who can or feels compelled to help in any way, it would be sincerely appreciated by Zoey, Tim, and our entire family.  If you can't, I completely understand, and ask that you please continue to pray for Zoey and our family.  Anyone who may want to do something directly, feel free to contact me or Tim.

In addition, we all tend to take things for granted.  Realize it can all be taken in the blink of an eye.  The world can be such a wonderful place if we all cared more for each other and try harder to be kinder to others.  We could all be more like a "Zoey."  I challenge us all to try more each day to be a "Zoey."

Thank you to everyone for all the prayers and support shown for our family.  It truly is amazing!
