Help! Ella needs surgery

We adopted 3 year old Ella from a shelter in October 2014  and we fell in love. She's our girls' best friend and a better companion that my husband and I ever thought a dog could be. 2 months ago Ella started limping and one night, vomiting. We rushed her to the ER to find out she's got a luxating patella in one of her knees. We could not afford to move froward with surgery (recommended) so we left with medication to help her with the pain until we devised a plan. A few weeks later we took her to a Homeopathic Vetenary Clinic, hoping they would tell us there's hope for her knee to heal itself. Unfortunately, Ella's other knee is just as bad as the first, and she is now in need of double knee surgery (an Orthopedic Surgeon's dream, we were told). Waiting for surgery might not be an option due to a high risk of her knees worsening. Please help us fix her. We don't know what else to do. Every dollar helps.
