The Ashley Jeanine “Yark” Foster Memorial Scholarship
Ashley Jeanine Foster, is the loving daughter of Alfonso & Cynthia Foster. Ashley was also known as Yark-Wark, a gifted cartoonist. She focused on characters and world building in a original sci-i cartoon called, 'Team Prototype'. She graduated from The Art Institute of Atlanta with a degree in Media Arts and Animation. Ashley was an inspiration to her family, friends and large group of online peers.
On October 17, 2020, Ashley unfortunately passed away cutting her artistic aspirations short. This tragedy has taken a toll on everyone who knew her. In her honor, a scholarship aimed at helping the next generation of artists was created to continue the legacy of Ashley’s life. Ashley wanted to share her gifts with the world. We will continue that dream with this "gift" of a scholarship. By supporting this fund, we will raise money to support artists like her achieve their educational dreams.
