My name is Leah and I am 16 years old. I've been dancing ballet since the age of . My mom allowed me to try many different after school activities and once she took me to my first dance class I fell in love with it. I studied many different forms of dance and at the age of 13 I decided to focus solely on Ballet. I truly love ballet and the way I am able to show my artistry and technique. I love the graceful movement of classical ballet and enjoy performing.
My mom noticed that I loved to dance so she decided to place in a Magnet school for the arts in elementary school. I've been in the arts school ever since. Right now I attend the Governor's School for the Arts. I am in the 11th grade now and the reason why I decided to reach out for assistance is that I recently auditioned and was accepted into Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts Ballet for year round.

Unfortunately, my mother is a single parent and cannot afford the tuition. I want to receive the best training over the summer so that I can pursue ballet once I graduate from high school. I don't want my moms financial situation to prevent me from pursing dance. I would like to ask you if you would find it in your heart to support me and my love of classical ballet so that I can get the best ballet training next year. I would like to thank you in advance for your help. Ballet is my life and true passion. I work hard everyday and hope to be in a ballet company once I graduate from high school.
