Dear Syria: Refugee Education in Jordan

The Syrian civil war has had a devastating impact on the people of its country. In the past 3 years over 2.5 million people have been forced to flee their homes and seek refuge in neighboring countries such as Lebanon and Jordan. While international aid agencies like the United Nations have done much to help Syrian refugees adjust to life in a new country, thousands are still living in refugee camps with limited resources.
Over half of these refugees are school-aged children that have limited-to-no access to education and schooling. The threat of a lost generation is severe if the international community doesn't take action.
Dear Syria is a start-up community organization working to raise awarenes about the humanitarian crisis of Syrian refugees. We are working to raise funds for Syrian refugees living in the Za'atri camp of Northern Jordan to purchase school supplies, uniforms and transportation. While the education of a child is priceless, host governments are struggling to afford schooling thousands of new students. Anything you can give can help us to help the children who have already lost so much!
