A Home for Harpers Haven Dog Rescue

We are a NY State nonprofit that takes in the dogs of hospice patients. We find them new, loving homes, and help ease the minds of the patient/former owner. Since we started in July, 2013, we have found new homes for 16 dogs of various breeds and ages. This is all run out of my home by a Board of Directors of 5, and many volunteers. Until we get approval from the federal government of our submitted 501(c)(3) paperwork, we can't apply for grants. We need a building that will allow us to accept more dogs into the rescue. We have 16 acres of land that we would like to place a small, custom built modular home on, so the dogs have a home-like setting. Please help us help hospice patients and their dogs.
