Hello everyone! My name is Kevin, I use they/them and it/its pronouns, and I’m a queer aspiring sex educator and sex and relationship coach.
Queer communities have historically been underserved and hardest hit by mainstream sex education, religious purity culture, and ostracisation from support networks for relationship difficulties. I hope to help change that by providing sex education, sex coaching, and relationship coaching to my fellow people in the queer community, with special attention to those who need it but are unable to pay for it.
In order to do so, I need to get appropriate training and certification, and get things set up to Do The Thing (such as a professional website), and that takes time and money.
And so I am asking you, the community, to please contribute towards this. The level of support I get will determine what degree of training I can undergo, but I will need at least $4,000 to cover training and additional expenses.
Again, the main purpose of this is to support disadvantaged queer folks – those who are impoverished, sex workers, disabled, etc. – either on my own or by partnering with community outreach organizations; any money I make will be to help me provide sex education and relationship coaching to those who need it but have been left behind by society. I don’t know how all this will look, but it’s something I believe in and want to do.
