HELP LAKSHEN TO HEAL AND CONTINUE HIS WORK

Dear friends, I’m launching this Go Fund Me to address the medical expenses for my prostate cancer and the treatments to other issues with my urethra. Approximately a month ago, during a tour in Bali to promote my film about Osho, I encountered a sudden inability to urinate.

This necessitated an urgent and costly operation, but unfortunately, it only yielded partial results. Now I’m in Italy where I am faced with the need for a second surgery in the next two months and to continue also the ongoing treatments for the tumour.

The diagnosis of cancer coincided with the culmination of my work on a film series around Osho. This endeavour has represented the pinnacle of my life's purpose in recent years and I am grateful to have seen it to completion. The sole impediment to its release lies in the absence of a distribution within the so-called official market and it is possible that several taboos still surrounding ‘uncomfortable’ figures such as Osho, contribute to this challenge.

Undeterred by the cancer diagnosis, I have persistently endeavoured to secure that distribution opportunity… however, in the face of recent setbacks experienced by my ageing body, the test has grown more arduous on both a material and existential level!

It is with much gratitude that I seek your support to restore my health and to continue the search for official distribution of my work all over the world and especially in India, where for several reasons, I’ve concentrated my professional efforts.
