We are asking for your support to bring 'Entanglement', a groundbreaking artistic and technological exhibit, to the world. 'Entanglement' features a 22 ft geodesic dome, lasers, and sound used in a completely new way.
We are beyond connected - we are all entangled. Every action, every thought instantaneously affects everything and everyone - no matter how close or far away. Even though we live in an entangled world, we are often unaware of it. In our exhibit, as people move inside the geodesic dome, they trigger lasers and sounds that make them acutely aware of being entangled with each other and the natural world.
Our work will be installed at the Museum of Art and History (MAH) in Santa Cruz, CA for their biennial event 'Frequency ' in September 2021. The MAH has given us a grant to support 'Entanglement', however due to the recent increase in the cost of materials, we are in need of additional support:
Our budget is as follows:
Geodesic Dome Materials: $3,500
Audio Equipment: $900
Transportation Costs: $4,000
Lasers (portion not covered by the grant): $5,450
Miscellaneous/Unexpected Material Costs (e.g. additional pipe, wood, mounting brackets, etc): $1,500
Our team includes Grammy-winning lighting specialists, an award-winning designer, and an accomplished artist. All of us on the team are volunteering our time and expertise to the project. We are so excited to be creating this piece to share with our community and the world through our documentary.
To thank you for your generosity, all donors will be recognized in our upcoming documentary about the project.
Thank you for supporting Entanglement! We could not do this project without your support.
