A Car For Laquana Johnson
Donation protected
On Wednesday February 24 we had a very wet, heavy snow storm that happened during the morning commute, my friend/co-worker was driving to work from north county and as she exited onto Dougherty Ferry Rd off of 270 an electrical pole fell onto the hood of her car, luckily and I stress luckily, Laquana was able to exit the car without being injured!! The police told her just how lucky she was to be ok due to the electricity going through her car and if the pole hit inches above it would have crushed her. The accident was broadcast on Fox 2 news and caused power outages to the area, the picture of Laquana's car sitting alone on the road with the pole on top of it is surreal ! I have started a campaign to get Laquana a brand new car ! Why not have a good story for a change about something good happening?? Instead of collecting for funeral expenses we get to help reward a hard working CNA-mother-wife-sister-daughter-friend- coworker for living, how great is that!
