My Fathers dying wish

My Father’s Dying Wish 

My Dad, 43 years of age, father of 4 and grandfather of 2, was diagnosed with stomach cancer Jan 2017. After fighting it for over a year he was told on the 13th of June 2018 that he has weeks left to live. 

My whole family is heart broken and devastated from this news and we are desperate to give my father his last wish to be buried in his home country of Ecuador. 
 
Let me tell you a little about my dad. His name is Juan and he is one of the strongest person I have ever met. He came to the UK many years ago in search of a better life for my mother, my brothers and me. 

He is full of wisdom and has taught me and my siblings very helpful life lessons. He is loving, helpful & genuine and would do anything to help others around him. If you ever got time to sit and chat to him he would make you laugh out loud with his silly banter. He is always the life of any room he walks into. 
 We as a family have been through a lot and it feels like we haven’t got a break from it all. From being homeless to not having money for food sometimes. But we have managed to keep positive and move forward as a family, but this news has left us with very little hope. 

My mother is planning to use all her savings and borrowed money to take my father back to their birth country to have time with him there, which I feel is very unfair for her, as funeral costs and flights are not cheap and she works very hard for her money, starting work really early in the morning and coming home at midnight. 
 Me as his son would love to do everything I can to help them financially but I just simply do not have the funds to help them as Ive just had my own child a week ago. 

We are not the type of people to ask for help often but we are desperate at this point and we haven’t got much time left.

My fathers dying wish is to be buried next to his father in Ecuador and my brothers and I would love to be there for him and the time he needs us the most. I now ask for your support in helping me and my family fight one last time. If you could help us give him a proper burial he deserves with his family and loved ones. If you can’t donate with money just keep him in your prayers.

El deseo de morir de mi padre

A mi papá, de 43 años, padre de 4 y abuelo de 2, le diagnosticaron cáncer de estómago en enero de 2017.
Después de luchar durante más de un año, el 13 de junio de 2018 le dijeron que le quedaban semanas de vida. Toda mi familia está destrozada y devastada por esta noticia y estamos desesperados por darle a mi padre su último deseo de ser enterrado en su país natal, Ecuador.  
Déjame contarte un poco sobre mi papá. Su nombre es Juan y él es una de las personas más fuertes que he conocido. Vino al Reino Unido hace muchos años en busca de una vida mejor para mi madre, mis hermanos y yo.

Él está lleno de sabiduría y nos ha enseñado a mí y a mis hermanos lecciones de vida muy útiles. Él es cariñoso, servicial y genuino y haría cualquier cosa para ayudar a los que lo rodean. Si alguna vez tienes tiempo para sentarte y conversar con él, te haría reír a carcajadas con sus tontas bromas.
Él es siempre la vida de cualquier habitación en la que entra.  
Nosotros como familia hemos pasado por muchas cosas y parece que no hemos tenido un descanso de todo esto. De estar sin hogar a no tener dinero para comida a veces. Pero hemos logrado mantener una actitud positiva y avanzar como familia, pero esta noticia nos dejó muy pocas esperanzas.
Mi madre está planeando usar todos sus ahorros y dinero prestado para llevar a mi padre a su país de nacimiento para tener tiempo con él allí, lo cual siento que es muy injusto para ella, ya que los costos del funeral y los vuelos no son baratos y ella trabaja muy duro por su dinero, comenzando a trabajar muy temprano en la mañana y llegando a casa a la medianoche.  

A mí, como a su hijo me encantaría hacer todo lo que pueda para ayudarlos económicamente, pero simplemente no tengo los fondos para ayudarlos ya que acabo de tener mi propio hijo hace una semana.
No somos el tipo de personas para pedir ayuda, pero estamos desesperados en este punto y no nos queda mucho tiempo.

El deseo de morir de mi padre es ser enterrado junto a su padre en Ecuador y mis hermanos y me encantaría estar allí para él y el momento en que más nos necesita.
Ahora pido su apoyo para ayudarnos a mí y a mi familia a pelear una última vez. Si pudieras ayudarnos a darle un entierro apropiado que merece con su familia y seres queridos. Si no puedes donar con dinero solo mantenlo en tus oraciones.
