CANCER TREATMENT

In July 2017 Mark Kaczmarowski, 54 year old Local Business Owner (Sarina Garage Doors) and tireless worker in the community building Sarina Cricket Association was having major issues with his memory.   He had a MRI done and an extremely large tuma was found.   In August he had a debulking surgery in Townsville who were absolutely wonderful but diagnosed him with Glioblastoma, also known as glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) cat. 4, is the most aggressive cancer that begins within the brain. They could not remove all the cancer as it was too deep and was given 12 - 18 months with treatment, which he has soldiered through as horrible as it is.

Mark is a very much loved husband of Maureen and father to 5 and grandfather to 13 beautiful grandchildren.  He is just such a giving man to his family and clients and community. His will to fight with the support of his whole family is unbelievable no matter what they put him through. 

Townsville has done all they can and we all are very grateful but in looking for some help we contacted Charlie Teo in Sydney who has gone through Marks records and feels he can help remove the remaining tuma.  Charlie is an absolute genius and one of the best in the world when it comes to removing difficult
tumas.  This is definitely the next step in our journey.  It could very well be the only chance we may have.
 
Because this has happened so suddenly our business has been basically on hold and we have had no  source of income.  It is a struggle every day and to try and find the funds ($100000) just for the surgery is just daunting.  As a  family we just cannot stand the thought of losing Mark, he is our strength and means just everything to us all and we are just desperate to have this opportunity to save his life. It is just so crucial to have this surgery as soon as possible, being such an aggressive cancer time is of the essence and any assistance would be so much appreciated by the Kaczmarowski family it just would mean everything
