BCPAF "Let's Park It" Campaign

Help the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts Foundation create more parking for the village of Bigfork. After Bigfork's struggle with a shortage of parking for many years, the BCPAF acquired property in the downtown area on Grand Ave. that is being developed to make approximately 70 more parking spots. The little village of Bigfork snuggles in-between Swan River and Bigfork Bay, features that ensure its quaint and cozy atmosphere, but also limits space for parking so this acquisition was a big moment for Bigfork.

Last fall students from the FVCC Heavy Equipment School worked on grubbing and grading the property at a tremendous savings while allowing the students to hone their skills. A wonderful opportunity for both making it a win-win!

We have already seen the tremendous generosity of our community in donations that will be used to begin paying off the loan used to purchase the property and to develop the property for parking. But we still have a ways to go!

The Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts Foundation's  mission is to stimulate, support and nurture the performing arts and to maintain a venue where high quality performances are presented, including theater, dance, music, film, educational and civic events. The BCAF also supports an appreciation of the performing arts through funding and subsidizing school groups and other community organizations.
