Meet the plight of Donna Bryan:
Her pregnant 25 year old daughter, Katherine Bryan Hoover and unborn child (Rehlin) of 5 months were killed leaving behind her 7 year old son, Nicholas whom Donna now raises on her own.
Katherine was killed when the man she and her husband were visiting decided to play with his loaded gun collection twirling them he says “like a cowboy would” while impaired by the methadone and Lortabs that he had been taking. This is according to the man’s own testimony.
Yet, despite all this the State has refused to file any criminal charges against the shooter. I'm left wondering why while Donna has empty arms, no sense of justice or closure and now at 51 years old she's also suddenly raising Nicholas all on her own with little to no income and depleted savings.
