Jacie Needs Medical Bills Paid

I am a Transgender Woman. Early in Transition I was assaulted at a company christmas party in Arkansas. I imediately filed a police report. From the emergency room after the ambulance took me to the hospital. And after a few weeks learned there was no investigation. Then my fater arranged a meeting with the Sheriff and the District Judge. Who promised him an investigation would be conducted. And still nothing has been mentioned to us almost nine months later. We met with an Attorney to seek legal advice as soon as I was able to leave my house. And had recovered from some of the injuries. The attorney told us. With all of the circumstances at hand. And the state in which this happened in (Arkansas). Taking it to court would result in more headache than victory. And I should count my blessing that I was only a few months along medically into transition. And at the time, I was dealing with an entire world of stress and fear. As I had just came out to all of my friends and family as Transgender only a month before the assault. And I did not want my story in the public. As privacy seemed like the best thing at the time. Now nine months have passed since the Assault. And I have several thousand dollars in Medical Bills. For emergency treatment of two factures in my nose. A fractured eye socket. Massive swelling and bruising. And broken teeth. As well as time spent unemployed. Resulting in personal lose of property. And Medical Bills standing in my way of getting the medical procedures. That I need. I am asking for help to pay the Emergency Medical Bills. Since justice does not get served in Arkansas.
