I am deeply grateful to my family, friends, Facebook and Instagram for all the love, support and all the shares of the GoFundMe account...
Let me tell you a little about Ryan, He is our youngest of 4, he is 11 years old and has always had a passion for baseball. He’s been playing since the age of 5 Ryan also enjoys boxing, cracking jokes, and helping around the house.
Last week Ryan was diagnosed with
Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) a rare type of leukemia.. prior to the end of 2019,
Ryan has always been active in sports and healthy. In November he had his appendix removed and since then we noticed a decline in his health. It started with a loss of appetite, fatigue, no interest in sports and frequently feeling sick, flu symptoms, headaches, infections, and became anemic. After numerous visits to see the doctor, school absences, urgent care visits were were told repetitively that he had a virus. Last week after running a high fever, vomiting and having Abdominal pain, we took him to the ER, once again we were told he had a virus. Took him back to the doctor where they compared current labs to old labs in which once again they confirmed he had an infection and wanted to send him home with more meds. After some hesitation the doctor finally agreed to admit him. Test were done and results showed organs were enlarged and at this time they decided to have him transfered to a children hospital for a second opinion and further testing.
This is where we were Informed of Ryan’s current condition.. Ryan will remain in the hospital for 8 months undergoing daily chemo with 1 week of rest time every month. They explained to us that AML is aggressive and the chances of the cancer coming back are 30%.
We are believing for 100% recovery and we are asking for prayer warriors to join us in declaring healing. We serve an awesome God. He is our healer! He is Ryan’s healer!
We sincerely want to thank each and everyone of you for all your prayers, your support, your encouraging words and your donations! God bless you!
